A medical diploma student was stabbed to death and his uncle injured by miscreants at Boali area in Kishoreganj Sadar on Friday evening.
The victim was identified as Rajib Ahamed (22) son of Abed Ali, a student of Firoza Medical Institute in Kishoreganj.
Serious injured Rajib’s uncle Adv Al-Amin was admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
Kishoreganj Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC, Investigation) Md. Mizanur Rahman told the New Nation that, police also arrested four persons in this connection. The arrested persons are Rafiq (24), Apel (20), Lal Miah (28) and Abdul Malaque (55) and they are involved drug business.
The body was sent to morgue for autopsy. A case was filed in this connection with Kishoreganj Model Police Station.
Later, the students of Firoza Medocal Institute formed a human chain at Kishoreganj collectorate building demanding capital punishment of the killers.
