A 4th-grade student named Ibrahim was killed when a trolley hit him in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur around 7 pm on Tuesday.
Witnesses said Ibrahim, son of Ujjwal Ali of Naodapara village in Palashbari upazila, was coming to Parbatipur on a bicycle. At the same time, a trolley filled with sand coming from the opposite direction pushed the bicycle. Ibrahim went to fell under the wheels of the trolley and crushed to death on the spot. However, the driver and helper of the deadly trolley fled.
The members of the police of Parbatipur Model Police Station rushed to the spot and recovered the body and took it to the custody of the Trolley Police Station.
