A school student was killed in a road accident at Kayan Bazar in Baraigram upazila under Natore district on Monday on Natore- Pabna Highway road.
The student was identified as Kauser Habib Palash (13). He was a student of class seven of Bonpara Saint Josephs School and College. He was son of Motiur Rahman of the village Darikhoir in Baraigram upazila. He was going to school from his own house at 10am.
When he was crossing the road, a speedy Kustia bound truck (Dhaka Metro-D-81-0026) hit him. As a result, he was died on spot. Police arrested the driver Jakir Hossain (50) with his truck. Jakir Hossain is a son of Nur Ahmed of the villege Halisagor of Bandar thana under Chittangong district. A case has been filed by victim’s uncle Hasan Ali in this connection.
