Kotwali police recovered the body of a student of class -I of Bhekutia Government Primary School under Jessore Sadar Upazila at around 8pm on Friday.
The body of Yeasin, 5, son of Washim of Bhekutia village under Jessore sadar upazila, was recovered from a paddy field by Kotwali police at around8pm on Friday, said sub inspector Sobhan of Kotwali police station.
Kallal Kumar Saha, medical officer, Jessore General Hospital told that the child was brought dead at the hospital.
Family sources said the child had been going missing since 6pm on Friday.
The police and the hospital sources could not be able to ascertain the reason of the death. They are not clear weather is a killing.
No regular case was lodged.
