A student named Ahadur Rahman Ahad (11) died when he slipped and fell under the car while running in a moving pickup van at Kulaura of Moulvibazar on Monday. The incident took place in Dattaramuri village of the municipal area around 10:30 am. Ahad is the youngest son of Ishbar Ali, a resident of the area.
Ahad’s elder brother Fahim Ahmed said that a local Fulad Fulhid Primary School Amir is a fifth class student. Child Ahad can rise to the north of a moving P-Upvan. At this point the driver of the pickup van tried to turn the car to the rear. Ahad slipped and fell under the car. He was immediately rescued and taken to the emergency department of Kulaura Upazila Health Complex. The doctor on duty there declared him dead. Upon receiving the news, the police recovered the body from the hospital and took it to the police station.
