A girl student was crashed under the wheels of a train at Adarshapara village field area under Kotchandpur upazila of the district on Thursday morning.
The victim is identified as Masura Khatun Nupur, 15 daughter of Dr. Khalek of Bahirgathi village under the upazila. Nupur was the student of class nine of Kotchandpur girls’ school.
Officer- In -Charge (OC) Ahmed Kabir of Kotchandpur police station said on Thursday morning at around 11-00 am Nupur jumped under Dhaka bound Chitra express from Khulna and committed suicide.
On information GRP police from Jessore reached the spot and recovered the body and handed over the body to her family members.
