Additional Divisional commissioner Shankar Ranjan Shaha emphasized the need for strict compliance of quality control act of the essential products being imbued with the responsibilities , religious governance and patriotism towards nation. He disclosed it while addressing the discussion meeting on the occasion o f 48th World Quality Standard Day as arranged by the Bangaldesh Standards & Testing Institution on yesterday at Chittagong circuit house auditorium as chief guest.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Habibur Rahman graced the occasion as special guest duly presided by Director of BSTI, Chittagong Md Rezaul Karim . Additional Deputy commissioner (Revenue) Delwar Hossain and the President of CAB, Chittagong SM Nazer Hossain addressed the meeting . The speakers in the discussions emphasized the need for maintaining the minimum quality o f the products as the consumers can easily afford the purchasing capacity. They also cautions against the duplicate levels of the product s and urges BSTI to minimize the fees of sample test.
