Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Syed Muazzem Ali has called for strengthening cultural, educational and economic relations between Bangladesh and India.
“Bangladesh and India share a long history of cultural, educational and economic relations and it is imperative to further strengthen the mutually-beneficial bond,” he said during a visit to Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Uttar Pradesh, India recently.
During the visit, he interacted with the students of the university, including Bangladeshi students, according to a message received here on Thursday.
Talking to Bangladeshi students, he said, “As torch bearers and goodwill ambassadors of Bangladesh, you should do your best to use the facilities offered by the university”.
