Police recovered a stolen licensed shotgun from Dashuria in Ishwardi upazila of Pabna district within 24 hours of the incident on Thursday. The law enforcing agency arrested one person in this connection.
Ishwardi Police Station Officer-in-Charge Asaduzzaman Asad confirmed the incident, saying a licensed shotgun, 31 rounds of ammunition and gold ornaments were stolen from the house of Dashuria UP Chairman Bakul Sardar on Wednesday night (November 18). After learning about the theft, the police operation was started under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Firoz Kabir of Ishwardi Circle.
