Stocks witnessed upward trends on Monday as major indices of both Dhaka and Chittagong stock exchanges were found finishing upward trend on higher transactions.
The day’s trade value at the DSE increased to Taka 615.75 crore from Sunday’s Taka 569.46 crore and the daily trade also rose to 13.53 crore share from 12.48 crore share of the previous session.
The broader DSEX of the DSE closed the day with 3.01 points up at 5,279.26. The blue-chip DS30 and the Shariah DSES also followed the same trend with 2.28 points up at 1,857.72 and with 3.17 points up at 1,224.22 respectively.
