Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.
DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 21.52 points to stand at 4641.03 at the close of day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 133802 with transaction at Tk 6044.50 million. Of the issues traded, 144 advanced, 119 declined and 60 remained unchanged.
KPCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 245.09 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were BXPHARMA, BSRM STEEL, LAFSURCEML, KDSALTD, AFTABAUTO, MJLBD, DELTALIFE, SQURPHARMA and SAIFPOWER.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8651.72 by gaining over 55.09 points.
