Stocks saw upward trend on Wednesday as major indices of both Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchanges were found finishing upward trend with higher transactions of some large-cap securities.
The broader DSEX index of the DSE finished the session with 22.53 points up at 5824.43. The Shariah DSES and the blue-chip DS30 followed it with 4.87 points up at 1317.21 and 7.10 points up at 2131.34.
The transactions at DSE were 19.18 core shares valued at total Taka 638.94 crore.
At DSE, out of the day’s 330 traded issues, price of 177 securities closed higher against 95 losing issues.
