Share trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) maintained upward trend on Tuesday despite low transaction and volatility in prices of many scripts.
The broader DSEX and the selective DS30 and DSES advanced further to finish the day at 4969.73, 1849.22 and 1183.21 respectively.
The daily transactions slid marginally to 9.99 crore shares worth Taka 404.97 crore from Monday’s 10 crore shares of Taka 410 crore.
Share prices of 163 issues rose on the day when 116 incurred losses and 32 remained unchanged.
IDCL, BEDL, Saif Power, Fu Wang Food and Western Marine were the day’s top turnover leaders with Northern Jute, Libra Infusion, Peninsula Chittagong, Al-haj Tex and BBS among the major advancing issues.
Daffodil Computer, Shympur Sugar, 2nd Mutual Fund, Alltex and Meghna Condense Milk were the day’s worst losing issues.
