Stocks get back recovery trend

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) got back the recovery trend, tracking another positive session on Tuesday as investors’ sentiment was lifted by regulators’ move to increase fund flow to the market.
The DSE key index, DSEX gained 15.46 points or 0.34 percent to close at 4551.51 on the day. Of the 318 issues traded, 165 gained, 118 declined and 39 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 320.61 crore changed hands at the DSE on Tuesday as against Tk 290.52 crore on Monday.
Grameen Mutual Fund One topped the top 10 gainers list at Dhaka bourse while other companies were 3rd ICB Mutual Fund, Appollo Ispat, Monno Ceramic, Miracle Industries, Aman Feed, Aamra Technologies, Hwa Well Textiles, Aims 1st Mutual Fund and Metro Spinning.
The top five turnover leaders at the DSE were Lafarge Surma Cement, Ifad Autos, Quasem Drycells, Square Pharmaceuticals and Grameenphone.
Top five losers at the DSE were Zeal Bangla Sugar Mills, Exim Bank 1st Mutual Fund, Standard Insurance, ICB AMCL Second Mutual Fund and Stylecraft.
