Country’s stock market marked slight gain in its price indices on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.
DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 8.89 points only to stand at 4694.95 at the close of day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 174010 with volume of transactions at Tk 6925.84 million.
Of the issues traded, 168 advanced, 135 declined and 22 remained unchanged.
UPGDCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 219.56 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were GOLDENSON, BDTHAI, CITYBANK, ITC, BXPHARMA, EMERALDOIL, TALLUSPIN, FARCHEM and ALLTEX.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8737.82 by gaining over 2.90 points.
Out of the issues traded, 121 gained, 112 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
