Stocks ended the week on Thursday downward trend with falling trend of major indices at Dhaka and Chittagong stock exchanges on lower transactions.
The broader DSEX of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) closed the week with 90.54 points lower at 5,645.86. The blue-chip DS30 and the Shariah DSES also followed the same trend with 46.86 points down at 2087.34 and with 17.83 points down at 1294.88. The week’s trade value at DSE decreased to Taka 1016.44 crore from the last session of previous week Taka 595.79 crore and the weekly trade also fell to 25.73 crore shares from 18.24 crore of the previous week.
