Share trading at Dhaka and Chittagong stock exchanges begins Sunday after a long recess of nine days.
The stock market went for an extended holiday from October 5 to celebrate Eid-ul Azha as the three-day official holiday became nine-day for the stock exchanges with two weekends and additional off for two days.
The country’s two bourses, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Exchange (CSE), remained closed from October 5-11 for Eid-ul Azha.
