Gachhbari Modern Academy Education Trust (U K) has distributed stipends and educational materials among the talented poor students of the Gachhbari Modern Academy at Kanaighat in Sylhet on Thursday .
Founder trustee and former student of the institution Mohammed Mokhlisur Rahman attended the function as the Chief Guest with founder president of the Education Trust Adv Abdus Sattar in the chair.
Headmaster of the Academy Miftahul Bor Chowdhury and acting president of the school managing committee Bazlur Rahman also addressed the function, among others.
The Education Trust, which was founded by some UK expatriates whose are former students of the Academy, gave the stipends and distributed the educational equipment among the students. The trustees said that they would strengthen their activities in future.
