Steve Rhodes new Head Coach of Bangladesh Cricket team

Steve Rhodes has been named new Head Coach of Bangladesh National Cricket team. President of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Nazmul Hasan finally disclosed this matter on Thursday.
The 54-year old English Coach will contract with BCB up to 2020 ICC Twenty20 World Cup. Rhodes is going to take as a Head Coach of a Test-playing country for the first time. Rhodes, who was a former Test cricketer of England, had been working as the coach of Worcestershire, an English county cricket team for a long time.
BCB boss said to the newsmen, “We talked to Rhodes face to face today and we were satisfied fully. We are happy to inform you that Steve Rhodes is the new Head Coach of Bangladesh National Cricket team. After considering everything, we decided that Rhodes is the right person for the post. After Eid, he will join the team on June 20.”
Steve Rhodes played for England 11 Test matches and nine ODI matches. But actually the former wicketkeeper-batsman acted for 20 years as a player of Worcestershire. He had started to play for the county team from 1985 and retired in the year of 2004. Later, He had been acting as coach and director of Worcestershire from 2006 to 2017.
World-class all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan played for Worcestershire for two years in County Cricket Championship. So, Shakib had a good idea about the coaching of Rhodes.Steve Rhodes also worked for England Under-19 Cricket team.
