Step mother accept the murder charge of killing of eight-year-old child son in Nagor River’s water under Dupchanchia upazila of Bogura.
On Monday afternoon, admitting the murder of the senior judicial magistrate.
The baby’s name is Ashiq (8). The accused’s name is Jamie Begum. Ashik’s father Abdul Momen Pramanik. They are residents of Dhapsukangagari Mahalla of the municipal area of the upazila.
The investigation officer of the case and Sub-Inspector of Dupchanchia Police Station (Shafiqur Rahman) said that the mother, Jamie Begum, took her from the house on 13th July, saying that she would give breakfast to the child.
After a few hours, Jemi returned home alone. Later, Ashiq’s father told the news of missing children. Later, locals rescued the body of Ashiq from Nagar River at noon.
Ashik’s mother Nur Akther filed a case against the accused in Dupchanchia police station on Sunday.
Police arrested Jamie on the same night. Ashiq’s divorce with his mother was four years before his father. From then on, the Ashiq was with the grandparents.
