The Step-BSJC Media Cup Cricket begins tomorrow at the Outer Stadium, which is adjacent to the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Bangladesh Sports Journalists Community (BSJC) will arrange the cricket competition under auspices of Step Footwear.
To mark the upcoming cricket meet, a press conference was held at the conference room in the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday.
President of BSJC Asif Iqbal, General Secretary of BSJC Shakir Ruben, Chairman of the Tournament Committee Masud Parvez, Managing Director of Step Footwear Md Shamim Kabir, former captain of Bangladesh National Cricket team Khaled Mashud Pilot, former player of Bangladesh National Cricket team Mohammad Sharif were present at the conference.
A total of 24 media houses including television channels, print media houses and online agencies will take part in the cricket tournament.
The champions will be awarded Taka thirty thousand, while the runners-up will get Taka twenty thousand.
