Bakalia thana police detained three members of the stealing group in the city yesterday. The detained thieves identified as Md Syed alias Laden, Md Taj Miah and his wife Anowara Begum. All the thieves belong to Bakalia tulatuli area in the city. Police recovered sarees, pants, shirts, shoes, children wares , imitation items from their possession.
These thieves stolen these itesm from different shops in the city in disguise of buyers during the rush Eid shopping. Officer in charge of Bakalia thana Pranab Chowdhury said acting on secret information, these thieves were detained Tulatuli area and recovered the stolen goods.
These confessed to police that, there are a numbers of members in the stealing group across the city.
