A gala dinner party was held at the Steak House, an aristocratic restaurant in the city’s Gulshan on August 2. Members of Bangladesh National Cricket team and officials of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) took part in the dinner party.
Owner of the Steak House, Managing Editor of The New Nation and Managing Director of Ittefaq Holdings Arshad Hosein was highly delighted after watching the performance of Bangladesh National Cricket team against Pakistan, India and South Africa. Besides, Bangladesh Cricket team confirmed their berth in the Champions Trophy, which is schedule to be held in England in 2017.
So, Arshad Hosein arranged a dinner party at the Steak House for the members of Bangladesh National Cricket team, President of BCB Nazmul Hassan Papon, MP and the Directors of BCB on Sunday last.
The members of Bangladesh National Cricket team were impressed after taking part in the gala dinner party.
Former captain of Bangladesh National Cricket team and Director of BCB Naimur Rahman Durjoy,MP, former captain of Bangladesh National Cricket team and Director of BCB Akram Khan, Director of BCB Jalal Younus, Manager of Bangladesh National Cricket team Khaled Mahmud Sujan, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Rassel, MP, Woman Entrepreneur Fiona Hosein, and the noted personalities and businessmen of the country were also present in the dinner party, among others.
