Chittagong Bureau :
People of Chittagong city and its adjacent areas o Thursday observed one-day state mourning with due solemnity in memory of the victims of US Bangla plane crash in Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Apart from the Chittagong city, north and south district unit people, different socio-cultural organisations, trade unions, district administration, Chittagong Development Authority and professional bodies also observed the mourning day.
The day’s programmes included hoisting of national flag at half-mast atop of all government, semi government and private offices in the city and district. Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) also observed the day through various programmes including milad mahfil, hoisting of national flag half mast at its all 41 ward offices.
