Amidst the showery vigor of nature on Saturday, StrayBird, the literary and cultural forum of the Department of English of Stamford University Bangladesh celebrated its 12th anniversary by organizing a literary colloquium and cultural show entitled “Literature and Performing Art” at Siddheswari Campus. The keynote speakers of this program were Mr. Ataur Rahman, a renowned actor and director and Prof. Abdus Selim, North South University. Both of them discussed co-relation between literature and performing art through using subtle references, examples and experiences.
The program is inaugurated by Prof Dr M. Feroze Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of Stamford University Bangladesh. Dr Farahnaaz Feroz, member, board of Trustee was also present as the special guest. Prof Dr Waliul Islam, the Chairman of the Department of English, Stamford University Bangladesh also delivered his valuable speech.
