UNB, Shariatpur :
A mobile court here on Saturday awarded six-month jail to a youth for stalking a schoolgirl in Naria upazila here.
Naria Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Abdullah Al Mamun passed the order.
The convict was identified as Joni Sheikh, 18, son of Shamsul Haque Sheikh of Gorail village in Naria Upazila.
Locals caught Joni when he was stalking a female student of Dr KA Jalil High School and handed him over to police, said Md Aslam Uddin, Officer-in-charge of Naria Police Station.
