Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s ICT Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy on Saturday called upon all to go and protest in front of the BNP Chairperson’s residence in the city as
Khaleda Zia and her party are campaigning ‘against Bangladesh’s War of Liberation’.
“I urge everyone to go protest in front of Khaleda’s house. Join me in demanding Khaleda go back to Pakistan,” he wrote on his official Facebook page. He suggested all to show Khaleda and the BNP that the ‘memories of our brothers and sisters slaughtered by her Paki (Pakistani) masters and Jamaat henchmen cannot be wiped out by their propaganda.’
Joy said, he is outraged that during this Victory Month Khaleda Zia and the BNP are campaigning against the War of Liberation. Khaleda has taken the Pakistani line minimising the slaughter of innocent civilians by the ‘brutal Pak Army’ and their murderous collaborators Jamaat-e-Islami, he said.
“She (Khaleda) has claimed only a few hundred thousand killed. Today the BNP even called for an opinion poll on the number of deaths! Facts are facts. They cannot be determined by an opinion poll,” said Joy.
