Cameroon international midfielder Landry Nguemo, who was without a club, has signed for Saint-Etienne until the end of the season, the Ligue 1 club said Friday.
The 29-year-old had been unemployed since leaving Bordeaux at the end of last season with a planned move to Lens falling through as the newly-promoted top flight outfit were banned from signing new players.
Nguemo, who has scored three goals in 42 international appearances, began his career at Nancy before joining Bordeaux in 2011, just after a loan spell at Scottish giants Celtic.
