An examinee of the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations, who sustained injuries in an attack by his rivals on Monday, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Masudur Rahman
Tushar, 16, an SSC examinee from Dhaka Modern School and College and son of Matiur Rahman of South BISCIC area of Mirpur-1.
DMCH sources said, Masud was stabbed indiscriminately by his rivals over previous enmity at Road-9 of Mirpur-Section-1 under Shah Ali Police Station around 8:30 pm on Monday.
Later, he was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at around 8 am on Wednesday. None was arrested yet in this connection.
