An SSC examinee died in Sirajganj after being injured in a clash over the UP election on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Delwar Hossain Sagar, 18, son of Abdul Latif of Machiakandi village in Hatikumrul union of Ullapara upazila. He was the SSC examinee of this year.
Abdul Quader Jilani, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Salanga Police stationtold that Sagar was injured in a clash between supporters of two rival UP member candidates at the Government Primary School Polling Center in Machiakandi Village on Sunday afternoon. Later on, he was admitted to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in Bogra that night and due to his critical health condition Sagar died this morning.
