Rohana P Mahaliyanaavachchi, Professor of Agribusiness Management department and former pro-Vice Chancellor of Sabaragamuwa University in Sri Lanka on Saturday called on Islamic University (IU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari at the latter’s office on the campus.
IU Pro-VC Prof. Dr M Shahinoor Rahman, Dean of Business Studies Faculty of Jagannath University (JnU) Prof. Dr Moniruzzaman, Director of BBA program of American International University-Bangladesh Farheen Hassan, Chairman of Tourism & Hospitality Management department of IU Prof. Dr M Mahbubul Arfin and Chairman of Management department of IU Prof. Dr M Ruhul Amin, among others, were present on the occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaboration in different academic field between the two universities.
