Sri Lanka made an auspicious start in the 11th SAFF Championship beating Nepal by a solitary goal in their opening Group A match at the Trivandrum International Stadium in Kerala, India on Wednesday.
After a barren first half, Rifnas of Sri Lanka scored the all-important goal in the 90th minute of the play.
