Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has confirmed that the two-Test home series against England, which was postponed in March due to Covid-19 concerns, has been rescheduled to early next year. The England team was in Sri Lanka, in the middle of their second four-day warm-up match when ECB requested the SLC to return home due to the rampantly spreading virus, with an eye on rescheduling the series in the future. The latest announcement regarding the series comes as a big shot in the arm for Sri Lanka, who are yet to return to international cricket since the pandemic brought the sport to a standstill earlier this year.
