Sri Lankan entrepreneurs have expressed their interest to invest more in different sectors of Bangladesh since there is an investment-friendly environment.
They came up with their interest while a business delegation of the Sri Lanka Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SLBCCI), led by Sri Lankan High Commissioner in Dhaka Crisanthe De Silva, met Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) executive chairman Kazi M Aminul Islam at his office in Dhaka on Monday, reports BSS.
During the meeting, they discussed various bilateral issues, including trade and business expansion, a press release said.
Aminul said Bangladesh is giving priority to Sri Lankan entrepreneurs in all sectors, including trade and investment.
He urged the Sri Lankan delegation to invest more in Bangladesh’s different sectors as the government is providing various facilities to both local and foreign investors.
Crisanthe De Silva said Sri Lankan businessmen and investors are interested to invest more in Bangladesh.
