Arindam Basu’s short film ‘…that Gift’ revolves around a day in the life of a middle-class woman Sandhya Sanyal who earns her living as a door-to-door sales agent for a cosmetics and skin care company. Actress Sreelekha Mitra will be seen as the sales lady Sandhya. This particular day is quite important for Sandhya as on this day her husband Samar, a government employee, gets his first opportunity to present his latest project plans to a minister after many of his earlier projects being rejected at the grass root level. To celebrate the day Sandhya and Samar also plan to buy something special for their son Santanu in the evening. Their son turns 20 in the next 48 hours.
