Chittagong Bureau :The family members of executed war criminal Salauddin Quader Chowdhury denied submission of any mercy petition to the President after dismissal of review petition . They demanded exhibition of such mercy petition if so prayed to public. This was disclosed by the family members of the Salauddin quader at a press conference held at his goods hill premises on Sunday evening . Wife of the death row convict in WC Tribunal Farhad Quader Chowdhury also presented the last conversations with her husband at Jail before execution before the journos. The press meet also demanded publish of controversial mercy petition if so prayed to the President by the death row convict.She further said Salauddin Quader applied for retrial to President declaring it as mistrial nothing else about mercy petition . In the press meet, son of the convict Hummam Quader chowdhury said the written statement of the press meet that arranged on Saturday at 11 am and there was no words of presidential clemency under Section 49 in that press statement. The press meet also expressed gratitude to the people of Chittagong for attending Namaze Janeza and Gaibana Namaj of Salahuddin Quader. Giasuddin Quader Chowdhury in the meet said the last wish of my elder brother was to bury him at Rangunia Kader Nagar but govt compelled them to bury at Raozan . Among others younger brother Jamaluddin Quader chowdhury, members of Salahuddin’s family were present in the press meet, sources said.
