Mobile court of district administrationof Chittagong recovered one truck loaded adulterated fish oil worth about Tk.14 lakh on Tuesday evening. The fish oil is used in fish processing plant . Later mobile court team destroyed the recovered 12600 kg fish oil . At the same time mobile cour t magistrate Ruhul Amin sealed off the oil manufactory factory in Chaktai immediately and fined the owner of the factory Jahed Hossain with Tk.50 thousand, sources said.
Sources said Mobile court team accompanied by BGB members and recovered 12600 kg spurious fish oil. Mobile court sources said fish oil is used in processing the fresh fish but the unscrupulous traders producing fish oil mixing dust of the dry fish with pump oil which is health hazards.
Under the act of Fish and Animal FeedAct- 2010 , owner of the factory convicted penalty with Tk.50
