Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) organized an orientation program on Saturday on its permanent campus at Bashundhara, in the city, for the newly admitted students of the Spring Trimester.
In his speech Prof M Omar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor welcomed the students and urged them to contribute to the society, country and humanity beside study. He called upon the new students to make this world a better place for the next generation.
Dr Sarwar Uddin Ahmed, Dean, School of Business, Dr Ali Shihab Sabbir, Dean, School of Engineering & Computer Science, Prof M Ali Hossain, Dean, School of Environmental Science and Management, Dr Mahbub Alam, acting dean, School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Dr Rita Yusuf, Dean, School of Life Sciences and Dr Tanvir A Khan, Registrar, also spoke on the occasion.
