The Walton Sports Competitions for children for special need begin today at the Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex in the city’s Dhanmondi.
National Association of Sports for the Person with Disabilities (NASPD) has arranged the sports competitions under auspices of Walton Group. ATN Bangla is the media partner of the sports competitions.
Regarding the two-day long sports competitions, a press conference was held at the conference room in the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Sunday.
Secretary General of National Association of Sports for the Person with Disabilities (NASPD) Dr Salina Akhter, Senior Operative Director (Head of Games & Sports Department) of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn disclosed the matters related to the sports competitions.
300 children from 26 different organizations will take part in the 72 events. All the participants will be awarded gifts provided by Walton Group.
