Centring the feuds of the leaders , Chittagong District Transports Owners’ Association has been splited into two group recently.
The oath taking ceremony of the new committee led by Manzoor Alam Manzoor was held on Tuesday last but the invited distinguished guests did not attend the oath function. In the function, Vice President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry Syed Jamal Ahmed graced the function as chief guest.
The invited chief guest Deputy Commissioner, Ctg MA Mannan , and the special guests viz. Additional Police Commissioner of CMP Faruque Ahmed and ADC(Rev ) Chittagong Abdul Quader did not attend the oath taking function .
The new committee led by Manzoor Alam Manzoor and Golam Rasul Babul as President and the General Secretary .
On the other hand, installation ceremony of another committee of the transports owners group led by Abul Kalam Azad was also held at a post hotel in city with Morshedul Quaderi in the chair. The new separate committees constituted for the term of two years(2014-16).
