‘Spelling Bee’ at SEU

Grand Finale of Spelling Bee Competition, held at Southeast University (SEU) seminar hall at Banani in the city recently organized by the Department of English of SEU.
Six contestants compete in grand final as finalists. They are Ateef Rashid, Umme Kulsum, Morsheda Sharmin, Monsur Misty and Tanzina Ferdous Bonni from the Department of English and Kumkum Kotha from the Department of Economics.
SEU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Anwar Hossain distributed awards among the winners as chief guest, while Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Md Humayun Kabir Chowdhury remained as Special Guest. Dean (Acting) of the School of Arts and Social Sciences Prof Dr Md Abdul Hakim chaired the inaugural session of the Grand Finale.
Associate Professor of the Department of English Harunur Rashid Khan delivered welcome speech.
