A latest techno devised diagnostic centre – Epic Health care Ltd was inaugurated in the port city yesterday . The multistoried Health Diagnostic centre is located at KB Fazlul Kader Road in front of Chittagong Medical college main gate in the city . City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin formally inaugurated the diagnostic centre as chief guest yesterday morning.
City mayor said that to get Health service is the right of people but the population density and the shortage of doctor we deprive from the service of health care . He also added that we must avoided the business minded service and desire to serve the people .
Principal of Chittagong Medical college Prof. Dr. Selim Jahangir, District Civil Surgeon Azizur Rahman Siddique, President of Bangladesh Medical Association, Chittagong Chapter Dr. Mujibul Hoque khan, General Secretary of BMA Dr. Mohammed Sharif was Present on the occasion as special guest. Chairman of EPIC Properties Ltd Engr. Abu Sufian was present in it as guest of Honour. Mentionable that EPIC is a reputed real estate developer across the country. After successful achievement in real estate developer, EPIC extended services in Engineering consultancy, construction, Readymix, Agro and Energy sectors. So far its inception in the port city, EPIC constructed apartment measuring about 12 lakh sft in Chittagong. The wing of the Epic now extended to capital city . Epic sources said modern technology based diagonostic machines have been imported from different developed countries of Europe and America.
The medicare facilities viz. video endoscopy, colonscopy, spirometri, auto path analyzer, molecular biology, electroferosis, furoscopy, histapathology, sitology , electrography ultrasound, 3-d elctrography and colour doplar, and others . The services will be available round the clock.
Besides normal healthcare facilities, there are arrangement of free treatment for the poor like blood grouping, eye treatment, circumcise, diabetic checkup and free health camp etc.
