He said now it’s a matter to implement the task and the boys will have to do their job properly in the ground. In the last encounter with Vikings, Rajshahi bowler Asif Hossain clean bowled to Gayle and this time skipper Sammy also expecting the same performance from the young man in the knock out phase.
“He is a cool headed player … he become pleased when he got the wicket of Gayle and he also shows the same emotion in the ground … it’s a big achievement for us as he has come for the team timely. Hope he will able to show match-winning performance in the next match.
Earlier, in the group match Rajshahi Kings beat Chittagong Vikings that boosted the confidence of Sammy who also is expecting the same result in the elimination round.
Sammy said despite the presence of Gayle in the last match they beat Vikings which boosted their confidence level ahead of the tomorrow’s match. He said though Chittagong is a strong opponent but they are also ready to face them.
