Special Olympics of Bangladesh will take part in a walkathon “Walk for Autism Awareness” organized by CHILD foundation on April 6th (Friday) 2018 at Gulshan Lake Park, Gulshan -2, Dhaka.
Child Foundation in a press release yesterday said that their goal is to create mass awareness and create a more understanding, compassionate and inclusive society where individuals with autism can reach their fullest potential.
The walk will be on a 1km route accessible by wheelchair as well. Special Olympics BD, many special need schools and others will have stalls in the walkathon showcasing their services.
There will also be live music and play area for children. Institutions and individuals working in the field of autism have been invited to join the walk and show their support.
