Sohel, Akter new DUJ President, Secretary

Staff Reporter :Sohel Haider Chowdhury and Akter Hossain have been elected new President and General Secretary respectively of Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ for the session 2022-23. The election was held on Tuesday.Sohel bagged 724 votes while his nearest rival Sazzad Alam Khan Topu got 690. Akter earned 736 votes while his main rival Md Mehidy Hasan received 642 votes. Manzurul Ahsan Bulbul, the Chief of the election management committee, announced the results at Jatiya Press Club on Tuesday night....
