Jatiya Sangsad Speaker and Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Chairperson Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury on Sunday returned home after joining the 7-day 62nd CPC in London.
Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry Suranjit Sengupt, MP, Waresat Hossain Belal, MP, Abu Sayeed Al Mahmud Swapan, MP, and Begum Shirin Naim, MP, joined the conference as delegates from Bangladesh, a press release said.
Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Post and Telecommunications Ministry Imran Ahmed also joined the conference as a member of CPA executive committee.
Shirin Sharmin inaugurated the conference and joined different meetings, general assembly and other programmes in the conference that was held between December 11 and 17.
