Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Professor Advocate Mamtaz Begum, an organiser of the Liberation War, former Parliament Member and ex-General Secretary of Bangladesh Mohila Awami League. In a condolence message on Sunday, she prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family. Meanwhile, JS Deputy Speaker Md Fazle Rabbi Miah, Chief Whip Noor-E-Alam Chowdhury and JS Deputy leader Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury also condoled the death of Mamtaz Begum and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
