Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury on Friday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of National Film Award-winning cinematographer Mahfuzur Rahman Khan. In a condolence message, the Speaker prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family. Deputy Speaker M Fazley Rabbi Miah and Chief Whip Noor-E Alam Chowdhury also expressed shock at the death of noted cinematographer.
