Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury left Dhaka on Wednesday morning for Uzbekistan to participate the “Fourteenth Workshop of Women Speakers of Parliament” (14SWSP) scheduled to begin on Thursday in Tashkent.
A Bangladesh parliamentary delegation led by the Speaker left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 10.15am on Wednesday, an official press release said.
During her visit, the Speaker is scheduled to participate in the session titled as- ‘Addressing the Risk of Post Pandemic Global Recovery’, ‘Preventing Tech -Related Risks and Preserving Human Rights and Gender Equality in a High-Tech World’, etc, of the 14SWSP, reports BSS.
Wrapping up her visit, Dr Shirin is scheduled to return home on September 11, the release added.
