A four-member delegation led by Head of Inditex Chair of Spanish Language and Culture, Spain Prof Maria Jose Martinez paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman on Sunday at the latter’s office of the university.
Other members of the delegation were Prof. Amparo Porta Rivas, Prof. Maria Caamano and Prof. Ana D. Tarrio, a DU press release said. During the meeting they stressed the need for strengthening ongoing joint collaborative academic, research and cultural exchange programmes being conducted by the University of Dhaka and various universities in Spain.
The DU VC sought cooperation from the delegation to develop Spanish Language Course at Dhaka University. The delegation members assured the VC of providing all possible support and cooperation in this regard.
